About Me
My earliest memories involve driving around the perimeter of our sheep property with my dad, mending fences that had rotted away. It was a basic operation involving a manual post-hole digger, a pair of pliars and brute strength! We sang Willie Nelson's "Don't Fence Me In" while we worked. I loved those days!
Fast forward twenty years and I no longer see any romance in repairing fences myself. New equipment, fencing materials and methods make it a much smoother operation these days. Even though I now hire professionals, the experience I gained worked with my dad has left me with enthusiasm for a well-constructed fence. I like to watch the contractors just to see what's new in fence construction. If you are planning to build a fence or simply have a passion for them, this might be the blog for you. I promise to leave the gate open!
